Musician King Saha has recently been very critical of the government and its institutions.
He has since announced that he is fit to be the next governor of the Bank of Uganda and will soon take over the office because it is vacant.
He declared his intentions to be the governor on Monday night through a TikTok live session.
"This position of governor of the Bank of Uganda has been vacant for so long, and I am declaring myself the governor right now. I will be signing all your money starting today," he said.
It should be noted that the power to appoint the governor of the Bank of Uganda is vested in the President and vetted by Parliament.
