Human rights activist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija went into exile in Germany following allegations of torture by the Ugandan government.
He was later joined by his wife and three children, who currently reside in Germany.
Kakwenza has now been accused of abandoning his wife (with whom he had a church wedding) and children in a residence in Germany (possibly provided through a scholarship) and is reportedly no longer fulfilling his responsibilities towards them.
It is alleged that Kakwenza has neglected his children, and they are currently being supported by the German government and his friends, including Stella Nyanzi, who also lives in Germany.
It is further alleged that he is in the process of filing for divorce from his wife.
Kakwenza is reportedly now in a relationship with philanthropist Rebecca Agaba and is currently in London.
