On Thursday this week, Frank Gashumba, in the company of his friends and family members, traveled to Sembabule district for his introduction ceremony.
He was introduced to the parents of Mutoni Patience Malaika at a lavish ceremony, which was also attended by Ministers Balaam Barugahare and Lilian Aber.
Gashumba has since promised a historic wedding for Mutoni Patience and says this will solidify their union for many years to come.
He explained that the wedding is an appreciation for her unending love, respect, and the friendship they share as a couple.
"It is the first time most of the people saw my woman, and many will see her again at the wedding. I will do a historic wedding to honor our love and also confirm our bond. Mutoni, I love her dearly because of her love, and I appreciate her," he explained.
Gashumba has over time been a vocal critic of marriage, and his introduction yesterday came as a surprise to many.
