Earlier this month, struggling media personality Robin Kisti was arrested amidst allegations of drug abuse and selling.
She was sent to prison and released after weeks of staying in jail.
It's alleged she was selling the drugs to school going children in her neighborhood which forced her neighbors to report the matter to authorities responsible.
However she has spoken out on the matter following her release from prison and revealed her arrest was not drug related.
Robin Kisti explainer she was arrested over criminal trespass and assault allegations.
She also confirmed smoking weed, however says it's not the reason she was arrested.
"They came to arrest me over allegations of criminal trespass and assault, I do smoke, yes, but that wasn’t the reason they showed up." she explained in an interview with Sanyuka Television.
Robin Kisti also denied allegations of checking in a rehabilitation facility and says she is doing well personally and there is no alarm for her to go for rehabilitation.
Robin Kisti asserts that she smokes but is not an addict as per rumours and reveals she doesn't do so oftenly.
Her comments come just days after Jackie Chandiru offered to help her overcome drug abuse and addiction.
"Robin Kisiti is my friend. In case she needs help, I will offer it. I can share with her a few tips but at this time she needs care, love and someone supportive." Jackie Chandiru explained.
