The debate surrounding Diamond Platnumz and his paycheck, following his performance at the coffee marathon, continues to make headlines.
Speaking about this, musician Jowy Landa believes the award-winning artist deserves the 750 million Ugandan shillings and that he is worth every penny spent on him.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Jowy Landa explained that Diamond Platnumz is far bigger and better than Ugandan artists.
She says our local stars are just jealous of him. They should sit back, chill, and improve their marketing and branding for better days ahead.
"They should chill; they are just jealous of him. His branding is top-notch; his videos are high quality. No Ugandan artist is bigger than Diamond Platnumz; he deserves everything given to him because he has worked for it," she explained.
Jowy Landa believes local artists should learn from Diamond Platnumz and emulate his branding culture to improve their bargaining power.
Eddy Kenzo, Kataleya and Kandle, and Ziza Bafana are among the artists who have cried foul over Diamond Platnumz's reported paycheck of an alleged 750 million Ugandan shillings.
