For almost a year now, musician Dax Vibez has been advertising and promoting his concert, revealing it would take place at Hotel Africana.
He had even booked the event for August 29th.
However, on Saturday night, Dax Vibez confirmed through his social media that Hotel Africana canceled his concert without providing reasonable grounds for doing so.
Fresh details have since emerged, revealing the concert was canceled due to political reasons.
According to insiders, security personnel claim Dax Vibez intends to use his concert as a platform to launch Bobi Wine's presidential campaigns.
Hotel Africana feared a confrontation with them, which led to the cancellation of the event.
"Security was tipped off about plans for Bobi Wine to launch his presidential campaigns at the show, and this forced the hotel management to cancel the event in fear of confrontation," a source who asked for anonymity told this website.
Alternative sources indicate the promoter also delayed confirming payment for the event, and the hotel reserved the day for someone else.
"The promoter hadn't booked the place for the concert. By the time he tried to pay, Hotel Africana said they would be having another event there," a source told this website.
However, Howwe couldn't independently verify these claims by press time, as our efforts to reach out to the hotel management for a comment did not yield results.
