People face various challenges while growing up, and Naava Grey has her own story to tell in that regard. The singer revealed she never experienced a father's love during her upbringing and felt insecure for a long time.

Naava explained she grew up in a polygamous family, and she and her siblings were abandoned by their father. He didn't provide for them fully, and they spent most of their time solely with their mother, which affected her when she started dating.

"I grew up in a polygamous family, and my father was absent from our lives. We were only with our mother, and it affected me even when I grew up; I needed a father figure," she explained.

Naava further explained that over time, she looked for a father figure in her partners, which always led to instability in her relationships. She consistently dated someone quite a bit older than her.

"I was looking for a father figure in my partner, and it always affected me. I would date someone much older than me; I didn't know it at first, but my heart was craving a father figure," she added.

The singer, however, remains grateful to Allah for keeping her strong and is doing well at the moment despite past challenges.
