Media personality Edwin Katamba, also known as Mc Kats, is always looking for a financial breakthrough.

For most of this year, Mc Kats has been attacking Bobi Wine, the president of the National Unity Platform. Now, he has his sights set on starting his own political party.

Mc Kats revealed that he plans to work with gossip columnist Kasuku, events promoter Bajjo, and musician Lil Pazo.

He says the party will champion the needs of the country's youth and serve as a platform for young people across Uganda. He intends to demand a fair share from the government for the benefit of young people.

"Starting a Political Party called Youth Speak, Muvubuka Yogelaa," he wrote on his X platform. The party's slogan will be "What are you doing for us and how?" He added, "Kindly asking @AlfonseMukasa @Kasuku256 @lilpazoofficial to join us. For God And My 🇺🇬🇺🇬."

Mc Kats' announcement comes just days after band musician Stecia Mayanja was unveiled as the party president for the National Peasants Party. She plans to run for the highest office in the country through that same political party.
