Musician Ava Peace is currently at the pinnacle of Uganda's music industry, continuously expanding her reach with one release after another.
The singer, who was ranked the best artist in the Zzina Awards 2024, attributes her rise to increased revenue from bookings.
During a discussion with Mr. Henry, Ava Peace boasted about being the most booked artist in the country, stating that she performs nationwide.
"Currently, I am the most booked artist in the country. I perform every day and night, in Kampala and upcountry, so I am making money," she explained.
Ava Peace maintains that she is financially independent and dismissed allegations of exchanging sexual favors for money with wealthy individuals in the city.
The singer clarified that, unlike many female artists who resort to such practices, she earns her living through her own work.
"I make my own money; unlike many of them who aren't booked, I don't sell myself. I actually have other businesses that bring in money apart from music," she added.
Ava Peace is also a farmer and manages a goat business alongside cattle farming.
