,Musician Grenade Official is not impressed by Bebe Cool's aim for an international audience and has branded him an "upcoming artist."
Grenade explained that Bebe Cool is currently pursuing an international audience, inspired by Kenzo to pursue this dream.
He says the Gagamel boss wants to be like Kenzo, which is why he is investing heavily in his dream of going global.
"Whatever Bebe Cool is doing, Kenzo did it and is already there. In fact, Bebe Cool wants to be like Kenzo. Kenzo broke the chains years back, and that's why Bebe Cool got inspired," he explained.
However, Bebe Cool disagrees with anyone who claims the East African region has an artist at an international level. He says Kenzo and Diamond Platnumz have done well but have not reached that level yet.
In May this year, Bebe Cool dropped his "Break the Chains" album with the aim of taking Ugandan music to the international market.
He has invested heavily in the album and recently revealed he needed over three billion Ugandan shillings for its promotion and marketing.
