Singer and Gagamel boss Moses Ssali, better known as Bebe Cool, recently revealed his brief and painful history with sports before his music career took off.

Coming from a family of athletes, Bebe Cool was deeply involved in both athletics and football throughout his schooling. However, a gruesome incident on the football pitch abruptly ended his budding career.

"I wore boots that were too tight during a hot season, and when I removed my socks after the game, all ten of my toenails came off," he shared.

This traumatic injury forced him to quit playing physically, but his love for the game never faded. Bebe Cool, who still follows Ugandan athletics and football closely, insists, "I quit physically, not mentally."
