Controversial singer Fik Gaza has once again taken aim at Bobi Wine and the opposition, accusing the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader of secretly working with President Museveni.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Fik Gaza alleged that Bobi Wine’s continued participation in elections is a ploy to legitimize the current government rather than challenge it.
“Bobi Wine is working with President Museveni — that’s why they keep taking part in elections. They can’t win against him. If they’re serious about change, let’s protest instead of engaging in fake elections that only strengthen the regime,” Fik Gaza said.
The “Banana” hitmaker further questioned Bobi Wine’s leadership strategy, claiming that the NUP president should have mobilized nationwide protests instead of “wasting time” on what he described as sham elections.
Fik Gaza recently joined the ruling NRM government, and since then, he has consistently criticized the opposition, accusing them of misleading Ugandans with empty promises.
