Controversial socialite and ex-convict Shanita Namuyimbwa, popularly known as Bad Black, has once again sparked mixed reactions after openly declaring her support for both the NRM and NUP.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Bad Black revealed that she supports the National Resistance Movement (NRM) because “that’s where the money is,” but also serves as an agent for Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP).
“I support NRM on one side and Bobi Wine on the other. On Bobi Wine’s side, I’m his agent — and on President Museveni’s side, I’m there for money,” she said.
Bad Black added that supporting both parties has brought her peace and freedom to associate with people from different political backgrounds.
Her comments come as several public figures continue to take political sides ahead of Uganda’s 2026 general elections.
