Fast-rising singer Ava Peace is pushing her international ambitions further after securing a collaboration with globally emerging Ugandan star Joshua Baraka.
Baraka, who is among Uganda’s first wave of artists gaining notable international presence, has become a target for many local musicians seeking to break into global markets. Ava Peace has now confirmed that the two are already in studio working on a new project.
She described Baraka as a deeply inspiring artist whose musical strides have motivated her both personally and professionally.
“I am trying to befriend Joshua Baraka because he is really inspiring, and we are working on a project together. It will be released very soon,” she revealed in an interview with a local television station.
Ava Peace added that she is deliberately building a strong relationship with Baraka, hoping their connection will extend beyond just one song—for the betterment of the music industry and her own global dreams.
Currently, artists like Joshua Baraka, Eddy Kenzo, Elijah Kitaka, and Azawi continue to elevate Uganda’s music presence on the international stage, and Ava Peace is determined to join that league.
