Musician Sheebah Karungi has praised fellow singer Cindy Sanyu, saying the veteran artiste no longer needs to prove her musical abilities to anyone.
Cindy is widely regarded as one of Uganda’s strongest live performers and has earned recognition over the years for her vocal talent and stage presence.
Commenting on Cindy’s career, Sheebah said the singer has already built a strong legacy in the industry and should not feel pressured to constantly prove herself.
“Cindy is a beautiful singer and we all know that. She doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone. She should just enjoy her success instead of trying to show every day that she is the best,” Sheebah said.
Sheebah added that Cindy’s achievements and contribution to Uganda’s music industry already speak for themselves, and there is no need for her to keep seeking validation from critics or fans.
Her remarks come as many fans continue to regard Cindy as one of the country’s top female performers, especially for live band performances and vocal delivery.
