Social media celebrity Shakib Cham Lutaaya proved he meant business after knocking out Kenyan singer Arrow Bwoy in the second round of their highly publicized celebrity boxing showdown held overnight in Nairobi, Kenya.

The fight, which had been surrounded by months of hype, finally lived up to expectations as fans from both Uganda and Kenya tuned in to witness the cross-border battle. Both camps had spent weeks trading bold promises and showing confidence ahead of the big night.

Round one was a tight contest, but Shakib looked sharper from the opening bell, controlling the pace and displaying better footwork as he kept Arrow Bwoy under pressure. Despite the dominance, the Kenyan singer stayed composed and survived the opening round.

However, it didn’t take long for things to change in round two.

Shakib unleashed a powerful punch that dropped Arrow Bwoy to the canvas, forcing the referee to stop the fight and hand the Ugandan star a technical knockout (TKO) victory.

Following the win, reports indicate Shakib walked away with a whopping UGX 50 million prize, cementing his status as the king of the night in what has become one of East Africa’s biggest celebrity boxing events.
