My Lawyers Are Ready, I Won’t Apologise! - Evelyn Mic Dares Sheilah Gashumba

NRG Radio Uganda presenter Evelyn Mic has fired back at fellow media personality Sheilah Gashumba, declaring that she is ready for any legal battle arising from their increasingly bitter public feud.

Evelyn, real name Evelyn Masika, has reportedly been threatened with legal action following a series of exchanges between the two media personalities.

However, rather than back down, Evelyn says her lawyers are ready and she has no intention of apologising.

The latest confrontation follows Evelyn's August 11 response to claims that Sheilah had threatened to have her fired from NRG Radio Uganda, where she co-hosts a show.

At the time, Evelyn was away attending the burial of her sister when the dispute erupted online.

How the Feud Started

The disagreement reportedly began after Evelyn commented on speculation surrounding Sheilah's relationship with businessman Alex Bidandi.

Sheilah denied the claims and defended her private life, while also reportedly suggesting that she could influence Evelyn's position at the radio station.

The situation quickly escalated, with the two personalities exchanging accusations and taking shots at each other's careers and personal achievements.

Sheilah reportedly questioned Evelyn's business credentials, allegedly telling the radio presenter that she had “never even managed a small kiosk.”

The remark appears to have added more fuel to an already heated confrontation.

Evelyn Refuses to Back Down

Rather than retreat, Evelyn has maintained her position and made it clear that she is prepared to defend herself if the matter ends up in court.

She has also rejected any suggestion that she should apologise, signalling that the battle between the two could continue beyond social media.

The feud has now moved beyond the original relationship claims, with both personalities trading jabs over career struggles, personal achievements, influence and privilege within Uganda's media and entertainment circles.

What started as a disagreement over Sheilah's relationship has now turned into a full-blown war of words—and with Evelyn's lawyers reportedly on standby, this fight may be far from over.
