Veteran musician Kid Fox has dismissed comparisons between himself and fellow Ugandan artiste-turned-politician Bobi Wine, insisting that the two have little in common beyond their careers in music.
Speaking in an interview with local media, Kid Fox said he does not understand why he is repeatedly compared to Bobi Wine, stressing that they are two different individuals with different journeys.
“I have nothing in common with Bobi Wine. We are two different people,” he partly said.
Kid Fox's comments come as the veteran musician settles back into Uganda after spending several years abroad, with plans to reinvent himself and reconnect with the local music scene.
The singer is now focused on rebuilding his musical career and finding his place within Uganda's changing entertainment industry.
