Popular influencer and dancer Zayra Baby (real name, Desire Nandijja) has dismissed rumours of a romantic relationship with singer Dax Vibez, insisting that the two are only friends and business partners.
Speaking in a television interview, Zayra said she has worked with Dax Vibez for years but has no romantic involvement with the singer.
“Dax Vibez is my good friend, and we are in a working relationship. There is nothing beyond that. Whatever else you have heard is not true, it is false. I don’t see it happening because our relationship is strictly business,” she said.
Zayra said rumours that the two are romantically involved are false and claimed they have been spread by people seeking to damage her growing career.
She also revealed that Dax Vibez pays her well for the work they do together, saying the financial arrangement has contributed to her continued commitment to their professional relationship.
Zayra added that most of her friends in Uganda’s entertainment industry are male.
She named Spice Diana as the only female musician she considers a close friend in the industry.
