I Wanted to Become a Lawyer – Lydia Jazmine

Musician Lydia Jazmine has revealed that she once dreamed of becoming a lawyer before pursuing a career in music.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Jazmine said she developed an interest in law while growing up and admired the profession.

However, she believes her eventual journey into music was part of God’s plan for her.

“I wanted to become a lawyer growing up. It is God who chose music for me, but personally, I was interested in doing law. It is something I really admired growing up,” she said.

Despite not pursuing her childhood dream, Jazmine said she has no regrets about the path she took, noting that she has found success and blessings through music.

“Regardless, I am successful where I am, and it is also a blessing,” she added.

Jazmine has since established herself as one of Uganda’s notable female musicians, with music becoming the career she ultimately embraced.
