Former tycoon Emmanuel Lwasa has opened up about the challenges he is currently facing, blaming some of his difficulties on people he says have failed to return the support he previously gave them.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Lwasa expressed frustration over what he described as a lack of gratitude from people he had helped in the past.
He also said his experiences with women have contributed to some of his troubles, revealing that he had at one point considered giving up on relationships altogether.
“People are the ones who cause the problems I face today, they don't want to help me, yet I did so for many of them. Women have also brought me troubles and even considered giving up on them,” he said.
Lwasa further revealed that he is facing financial difficulties, saying he can no longer afford to fuel his cars.
The businessman has since appealed to President Yoweri Museveni and the Ugandan government for assistance, expressing hope that support could help him improve his current financial situation.
Lwasa, who was once known for his wealth and high-profile lifestyle, has in recent years spoken publicly about the financial challenges he has encountered.
