Controversial media personality Mary Luswata has criticised singer Sheebah Karungi over her relationship with Jaffar, accusing the singer of interfering in another woman’s marriage.
Luswata also questioned Sheebah’s identification as a feminist, arguing that her alleged actions contradict the values associated with women’s empowerment.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Luswata claimed that Sheebah knowingly became involved with Jaffar despite being aware that he was married.
“Sheebah calls herself a feminist, but she is not one. She went ahead to spoil another woman’s life. She snatched someone’s husband, and I don’t see her through the women’s emancipation mirror anymore,” Luswata said.
Luswata’s comments come amid public discussion surrounding Sheebah’s relationship with Jaffar, whom she has identified as the father of her child.
However, the claims that Sheebah “snatched” a married man and destroyed another woman’s family remain Luswata’s allegations and have not been independently established.
