The Tottenham Hot Spurs striker Emmanul adeybayor played a big role in Uganda’s defeat last Saturday, In a game that ended with the sparrow hawks just one goal ahead of the Uganda cranes enough to break Ugandans 10 year record against Togo.

Adeybayor was hell bent on breaking the record but he also gave credit to the performance of The Cranes the words;

“They (The Cranes) put up a great fight. So sorry that a record of 10 years is now gone but still credit to the Ugandan players for the great showing”, --- Emmanuel Adebayor

The two teams are set to face off on Wednesday at the Kegue stadium in the Togoese capital, Lome.

Meanwhile Micho Assures ugandans that the dreams are still alive said;

‘We did not deserve to go home empty handed, but we are still in contention’, Micho told the packed post match press conference at the Namboole Stadium board room.

“When we realized Togo plays the long ball, we tried to adjust and employ the wing attack. That is why I changed Khalid (Aucho), a striker (Okwi) to inject pace upfront”, the Serbian born tactician added.

Hopefully The Cranes start a new record in Emmanuel Adebayor’s back yard.
