Musician Kapeke is facing legal action, having been served with a Notice of Intention to Sue by events promoter and media personality Ssemwogerere Ivan, widely known as Sixteen Promotions.

In an interview with Galaxy TV’s Rewind team, Kapeke responded to critics and fans who have continuously drawn parallels between the two artists.

The video captures Kapeke's white Toyota Seinta, with registration number UA 261AN, driving onto the main road with its entire rear windshield shattered into a spiderweb of cracks.

He claims that Europeans are currently dancing to his music, which he believes justifies his "international artist" title.
