The Committee of Science, Technology and Innovation has urged the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr Monicah Musenero, to revive the sericulture project that government was financing.

A man and his wife spent the night in the coolers at Kamuli central police station for allegedly causing the death of their six-year-old son. The suspects are Godfrey Musenero and his wife, Viola Namwebya, both residents of Bususwa village, in Nabuwigulu sub-county.

Dr. Musenero proposed the idea to the Education Policy Review Commission on Wednesday during a meeting with commission officials led by Hon. Amanya Mushega.

The police officer also injured a one Bafa Kabosa, 30, a resident of Kyeigomba B village, Kyabugimbi Sub County in the process.
