Following Todays FDC press conference during which the party called on supporters to boycott everything pro-Museveni… One of the most maligned Tubonga Naawe artists, singer Bebe Cool has criticized FDC’s directive.
Today Monday, FDC officials held a press meeting at their party offices in Najjanankumbi where they advised their supporters to boycott activities by President Yoweri Museveni and those of musicians deemed to be sympathetic to NRM.
The party spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda also instructed the supporters not to show up for work on Thursday as part of their defiance campaign.
“Starting this Thursday we will not be going to work every Thursday of the week and we call upon all Ugandans who voted for Dr Kizza Besigye to stay home that day. If they (Museveni or the artists) come to a function, you all leave.
If they play a Chameleone (real name: Joseph Mayanja) song when you are in the taxi, you leave," -- Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.

Well, Bebe Cool had this to say in response to the above statement.
“This is unfortunate, especially from a party like FDC. This is a democratic country and we as people who participated in the Tubonga Nawe project had a choice to make,” -- Bebe Cool
