One of the biggest issues that most young people are facing growing up in Uganda today is not being able to relate to people who have had success. Not being able to look up to someone who has come from the same back ground as themselves, someone who went to the same schools as they did and one who understands some of the challenges that they go through.
By taking “Inspire Me” to the places where young people are, Wuluguma makes a difference. Inspire Me is our youth outreach program that’s helps young people reach their full potential through education and exposure to life changing experiences allowing them to dream.
We believe that for a young person to be all that they can be, they need mentors. Somebody who believes in them more than they believe in themselves. Through Inspire Me we connect them with real life role models to guide them into discovering their passions and equipping them with the tools needed to pursue them, helping them get better grades, learn new skills, increase self-confidence, Make positive decisions and being productive members of society. Our impact areas include Education, Passion Discovery, Health & Wellness, Personal Development and Career guidance.
Already we have been to Schools like Seeta High Mukono, Atlas High School Gayaza, Grace High School Gayaza, Muyenga High school, Makerere High School Migadde etc
When they say it takes a village to raise a child, we believe that its everybody responsibility to pitch in. With the proper tools, support, and motivation, there’s truly no limit to what future generations can achieve.
