Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze is back home after she successfully underwent an operation in South Africa.
On July 1, Nambooze travelled to South Africa following doctors’ comprehensive medical review.
A series of tests were carried out and she underwent a successful surgery last Friday.
She was put under a post-surgery observation until she was better to come back to Uganda.
It should be noted, Nambooze was first admitted at Mukono Church Clinic and later to Kampala with stomach complications amid fears that she had been poisoned
