Ever since Ivan Semwanga's death a lot has been said.
Now the latest information reaching our gossip desks is that Zari's mum has decided to hold a vigil at her home. Our snoops tell us that Zari’s mum is not even sure if she will be allowed to bury her son-in-law.
Speaking to a local newspaper in Munyonyo where the Vigil is said to have been held, Hassan Halima, mum to Zari had this to say
“I am not sure if I will even bury. People I don’t know are busy sending me threats that I shouldn’t step at any vigil. I am in fear. I may be harmed if I step there. I am disappointed in Ivan’s family who are accusing my daughter of being a prostitute and property hungry. They forget whatever their son had my daughter also contributed so they should stop spreading false rumours” Zari’s mother said
She further added that whenever Ivan would be in Uganda, he would branch off to Munyonyo for a meal ‘’ Ivan used to come here home and I cook him food. I have been taking him as my own son. He would tell me he still loved my daughter’’ she said.
