Details have surfaced how Arua Municipality MP and a strong ruling party supporter was gunned down on Friday evening as he returned home in Kawanda, a few kilometres from Kampala City.
Two men wearing mask riding a boda-boda intercepted Ibrahim Abiriga’s car who was in the company of his bodyguard and another occupant.
The unidentified assailants showered Abriga’s car with bullets which killed the two occupants instantly.
Meanwhile, Police also confirms that they have recovered a phone that was dropped by one of the killers.
The cell phone according to a witness belongs to one of the killers and it fell down as he attempted to flee having committed the heinous crime.
