Popular radio presenter and disc jockey Mbaziira Tonny was involved in a car accident on his way to watch a Masaza Cup game in Masaka.
Tonny, who is known for his Binyanyanya music mixes, was rushed to Kitovu Hospital in Masaka for treatment. He is said to be in stable condition but is still undergoing tests.
Tonny's friends and colleagues have expressed their shock and sadness at the accident. They have also prayed for his speedy recovery.
"We are all shocked and saddened by the news of Mbaziira Tonny's accident," said his friend and fellow radio presenter, Suuna Ben. "He is a great friend and colleague, and we are all praying for his speedy recovery."
