NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, has once again criticized musicians under the Uganda National Musicians Federation for allegedly receiving 18 billion from the government.

Addressing journalists on Tuesday morning at Kavule Makerere, Bobi Wine explained that musicians are set to receive Ugx 18 billion from the supplementary budget. He emphasized that this amount is equivalent to the construction cost of a hospital comparable to Kiruddu Hospital.

It's noteworthy that the Uganda National Musicians Federation was established in May this year, with Eddy Kenzo elected as its President, deputized by Sheebah Karungi and Pallaso replacing Juliana Kanyomozi.

Bobi Wine, however, remains critical of the federation and its duties. He believes Kenzo's federation is another political tool for Sevo (President Museveni) to suppress musicians who don't align with the yellow camp.

Kenzo refutes these claims, insisting that the federation has never received money from the government. He asserts that the federation aims to streamline the music industry through the passage of copyright laws in Parliament.
