Captain Francis Babu, a senior member of the National Resistance Movement, has spent over a month speaking tough about his political party.

He went public about the ruling party's failures after his wife, Margaret Zziwa, lost in the Nakawa West NRM primaries to former Lubaga RCC, Anderson Burora.

He accused "mafias" in the NRM of fighting his wife's candidacy, claiming they used money to buy off the electorate.

Francis Babu also allegedly accused the Speaker of Parliament of investing heavily in Anderson Burora because he is scared of Margaret Zziwa's influence.

In an interview with a local radio station, Francis Babu revealed that he is receiving death threats from various people.

Babu, however, says he is not scared of anything and will continue speaking out against the injustices for the good of the country.

"I am receiving life-threatening calls, but I don't fear anything. I am speaking facts because I want the best for this country. We need better for this country; I don't care about the threats... I will keep doing the right thing for this country," he explained.

Francis Babu believes his wife, Margaret Zziwa, would have emerged the winner in the NRM primaries if the elections had been free and fair.
