Musician Daxx Kartel has opened up about his life away from the microphone, revealing that he is now heavily involved in the gold business.
While addressing the media during Mike Wine’s concert on Tuesday, the “Baala” hitmaker explained that he spends most of his time at gold mines, where he engages in various activities to earn a living.
“I do a lot of hustles. Uganda has many good things including minerals. I deal in gold mining and other businesses. All those resources are for us citizens — the government should only guide us and make the sector better,” Daxx Kartel said.
The singer further urged government to improve the mining sector so that ordinary Ugandans can benefit more from the country’s natural resources.
Besides gold, Daxx Kartel also revealed that he works in the football industry as a licensed agent.
“I studied football science and I’m currently working as an agent, linking players to different clubs,” he added.
