Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz has revealed that Alex Muhangi is the only promoter he personally accepts bookings from when it comes to performing in Uganda.
Speaking during a media appearance, Diamond said he has received several offers from Ugandan promoters but has often turned them down or left them pending.
He explained that his relationship with Muhangi is different because the two communicate directly, without involving his management in the booking process.
According to Diamond, he supports Muhangi because he believes in the comedian’s vision for Uganda, East Africa and the African continent.
“Most of the time, I get different bookings from here, but I either keep them pending or reject them. But for Alex, we communicate directly. He books with me, not even the management. We speak directly on the phone. I understand his dream, and we must support him to achieve it. It’s for Uganda, East Africa and Africa at large,” he partly explained.
