Prince Dr. Kassim Nakibinge Kakungulu has urged security agencies to exercise restraint and professionalism as they carry out their duties during the ongoing election period.

Dr. Nakibinge also challenged the Electoral Commission to organize elections that are free, fair, and devoid of violence or intimidation, emphasizing the importance of credibility in the democratic process.

He further called upon Ugandans to turn up in large numbers on polling day and peacefully exercise their constitutional right to vote at their designated polling stations.

The remarks were made during a meeting held at his residence in Kibuli, where he hosted the National Unity Platform (NUP) President and presidential flag bearer, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, who paid him a courtesy visit.

Prince Nakibinge stressed that peace, tolerance, and respect for the rule of law are essential for national stability before, during, and after elections.
