Renowned Ugandan producer and singer Daddy Andre, accompanied by close friends and family, recently paid a visit to Sylvia Suubi’s parents in Bulindo for a traditional Kukyala ceremony.

The Kukyala ceremony signifies that the couple has taken a major step towards holy matrimony, with their Kwanjula ceremony scheduled for next Sunday in Busia. The official wedding date is yet to be revealed.

Speaking about his new partner, Andre said he has found peace and harmony in Sylvia Suubi, describing her as the woman of his dreams and someone he deeply cherishes.

“I found peace and harmony in this woman. She is the person of my dreams and I cherish her highly. We share a strong bond and I believe it will keep our relationship strong,” Daddy Andre said in an interview with a local television station.

Despite being a public figure, Daddy Andre has chosen to keep this relationship largely private, something many believe he learned from his highly publicised past relationship with singer Nina Roz.

Andre and Nina Roz previously held a Kukyala ceremony but never made it to their first anniversary, a chapter that seems to have shaped his new approach to love and relationships.
