Media personality and deejay Lynda Ddane has come to the defense of fellow entertainer Etania, dismissing claims that her recent success is linked to ritual sacrifice.
The allegations emerged a few weeks ago after an unidentified man, during a YouTube interview, claimed that Etania had sacrificed a former boyfriend to gain fame and access supernatural powers.
Etania quickly rejected the accusations, insisting that her achievements are the result of years of hard work, dedication, and persistence in the entertainment industry.
Now, Lynda Ddane has also spoken out, criticizing those who seek to undermine people's success with unverified claims and conspiracy theories.
“I don’t know why people put aside the hard work people do. If you have seen someone putting in the work, why do you try to change the narrative?” Lynda said.
She pointed out that Etania's efforts have always been visible to the public, noting that many people witnessed her commitment through rehearsals, performances, and media appearances long before her recent breakthrough.
“That girl rehearsed in everyone’s presence and appeared in public interviews, but when the event worked out, you claim the reason is something else? It doesn’t make sense. All of a sudden, that is a ritual sacrifice?” she added.
Lynda further urged the public to celebrate and support successful individuals rather than attaching negative narratives to their achievements.
“Allow people to shine and enjoy the fruits of their work. We’re not born to suffer. If someone has worked hard and achieved something, allow them to enjoy it,” she said.
Her remarks add to the growing voices within the entertainment industry defending Etania and calling for greater recognition of hard work and talent over speculation and rumors.
