Singer Ava Peace has opened up about her plans for motherhood, revealing that she hopes to become a mother when the time is right.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, the singer shared her thoughts after Ssenga Justine Nantume highlighted several female musicians, including Carol Nantongo, Karole Kasita, and Cindy Sanyu, who have successfully balanced motherhood with their music careers.
Ava Peace said she believes every woman has her own timing and that she will embrace motherhood when she feels ready.
“All the people you have mentioned gave themselves time. So even me, with time,” she explained.
The singer also revealed her deep love for children and hinted that her journey into motherhood may not be far away.
“I love kids a lot. So with time. Very soon,” Ava Peace added.
While she remains focused on building her music career, Ava Peace’s remarks show that starting a family is also among her personal aspirations.
Her comments come as more female artists continue to prove that motherhood and a successful career in the entertainment industry can go hand in hand.
