Social commentator Frank Gashumba has weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding DNA testing, calling for tests to be made mandatory for every child at birth.

Speaking during a discussion on the trending topic, Gashumba said it is painful for a man to spend years raising a child, only to later discover that the child is not biologically his.

He claimed that in some cases, the truth is allegedly known by the woman's relatives and close friends, while the man remains unaware of the situation.

Gashumba believes mandatory DNA testing at birth would help prevent conflicts in families and provide clarity from the beginning.

"DNA testing should be carried out at birth. What's even more painful is that usually the woman's family knows the truth, and even your wife's close friends know, but only you don't know the truth," he explained.
