Singer Kapeke has revealed that Shs14 million is the highest amount he has ever been paid for a single performance.
The singer said he earned the money from a booking in Arua, describing it as one of the biggest payments he has received for a show.
Kapeke also highlighted the demand for his music despite his small physical stature, saying his popularity among fans continues to speak for itself.
“I am a small body, big engine,” he said.
He added that some people may judge or dismiss him because of his appearance, but his ability to attract audiences and command significant performance fees proves otherwise.
Kapeke, however, said he is not in a hurry to stage his own concert.
The singer explained that he first wants to build a stronger catalogue so that when he eventually headlines a show, fans can enjoy a performance packed with his hits.
“I want to perform for my people when I’m comfortable that I am going to give them song after song,” he said.
