After winning the honesty Oscar, Radio And Weasel were disappointed by Ugandan media when the awesome news about they victory did not take Uganda by storm as they expected … with that discontent, the dynamic duo complained that;- "when artistes fight, it’s breaking news .. but when we win an award at the “Honesty Oscars” for singing and exposing corruption, the media is silent!! What should artistes do to get positive media coverage"
Controversial Scoop on Scoop show host "Mary Luswata" did not show any self-reproach in response to the above statement.
She said; “I have heard Radio & Weasel making so much noise about their award and how the media has side-lined them. You went online and said how you are too big after BET and you don’t need the media. If you won an award, I don’t care, keep it for yourself and your 25 children. Start your own newspaper or open a radio station. You are nothing compared to the Ugandan media. Be there with your award and die with it”.
Sounds rude but ... do we defy the statement?! Nah!
