Dancehall musician Mudra has spoken out amid his ongoing dispute with “Hozambe” hitmaker Da Star, insisting he has not yet recovered the money he invested in their joint project.
The disagreement escalated after Da Star accused Mudra of withholding payments, claiming the song had generated over UGX 100 million in royalties.
In response, Mudra dismissed the allegations and revealed he decided to pull the song down from YouTube after being labeled dishonest.
“I have not yet recovered the money I invested in the song. I tried to reach out to resolve the issue, but he did not respond. I deleted the video because I was being called a thief,” Mudra said in an interview with a local television station.
He added that efforts to reconcile with Da Star have so far been unsuccessful, as communication between them has broken down.
The fallout between the two artistes continues to attract attention, with fans closely following the dispute.
