Drama ensued at parliament today morning as police struggled to arrest 2 members of the jobless brotherhood who wanted to force their way into the prestigious house with piglets.

The youth carried 10 piglets colored yellow (NRM) and blue (FDC) contrary to their commonly known move of carrying only yellow pigs.

According to witnesses, the piglets had names of MPs written on their backs, while a letter had initially been dropped at parliament warning members to stop wasting time and debate on issues that affect the day to day activities of the citizens of Uganda.

Parliament has in the recent past come under pressure from civil society activists and Ugandans at large for giving themselves a huge chunk of money for cars, ipads, and now death transport.

The house has budgeted 68m for MPs’ burials. This year alone, parliament is said to have budgeted 5 deaths worth UGX338m, though no names of the future dead MPs have been revealed.

The young men have this time become neutral by using FDC colors on the piglets, something that has not happened in the past.

They have been arrested and dragged to the central police station in Kampala where they are being held.
