Trouble has befallen a one Sam Kizito, the officer in charge Ayer Health Centre ll, Ayer sub-county, Kole district after he was picked up by police for attempting to stick his horn inside a pregnant woman.
Police in Kole district has opened investigations into allegations that Kizito, a senior medical officer went outside his profession and nearly raped an expectant mother who was brought for his attention.
The incident happened last week.
Jimmy Agaba Mogi, the Kole district Criminal Investigations Officer explains that Kizito who was reportedly drunk at the time of the incident, tried to sexually assault Jennifer Atim, a 27-year-old patient who was taken to the health facility after developing false labour pains shortly after midnight.
However, Kizito's luck ran out after Jaspher Anang, the victim's husband found him removing his trousers with the intention of raping her before beating him severely.
The medic however managed to settle the matter with the woman and her husband after accepting to pay them 150,000 shillings so as to keep the matter a secret from the public, paying 100,000 shillings up front and agreeing to clear the balance later.
Agaba indicates that the parties developed a fresh misunderstanding yesterday morning after he failed to pay up the remaining balance of 50,000 shillings, forcing Anang to report the matter to police.
Agnes Akello Ebong, the Kole Resident District Commissioner, says she has instructed police to bring the errant medic to book and institute formal charges against him.
Akello adds that her office has received several complaints against the same horny lad ranging from assaulting patients and theft of drugs but wonders why he continues to walk free.
Denis Olila, the Kole District Internal Security Officer- DISO, says his office is investigating reports that the medic must have bribed police officers against pursuing the several cases against him.
The horny medic however blames his troubles on the locals whom he accuses of framing the cases against him on grounds that he does not hail from the area.
Kizito contends that he is willing to face reprimand if investigations pin him for the alleged criminal acts.
