If you're a regular Club Amnesia party animal then you're familiar with the chubby cheeked boss. Innocent Nahabwe spends prolonged hours at his bar business and always stands just at the VIP entrance as he fights with 'stand sleeping" disorder.

Well, the story is plaza building based Club Amnesia will be celebrating her 5th anniversary this Friday 25th November and the Chief Executive Officer walked us back to where it all began.

In a facebook post, jolly boss narrates

Long story on this one..... After being bounced off seats several times in the popular Clubs then because of Bad Black and his Squeeze Meddie Sentongo around 2009, I decided that it was time for someone to start a hangout for us ordinary Ugandans. Imagine, we would go to Silk, find all seats booked by the two Bad Black and Meddie, you go to Angenoir, the same, Go to Rouge, the same... and the two would be away.... so empty seats and all of us mortal souls would be squeezed in the hallways.

So one evening, I meet Darius Mugisha and Henry Henry H. Ssali in the parking of Oasis Mall. I congratulated about the successful Raba Daba show they had completed and shared with them an idea where #UGrecords would have a home for its artists and fans would engage with artists. Immediately, they bought in. Actually, They had thought about the same thing. We (Darius, Myself and i don't remember whether Ssali joined us) immediately went to 9 Degrees and over a few shots of tequila, we discussed what was missing on the entertainment scene. We realised there was a need for a hybrid Bar/ cafe/ club that played club Music, had professional DJs but had free entrance and people were free to sit anywhere, so long as they came when seats were available...

The next day, we were roving the town looking for a place to set out on such a project.........( to be continued) Thats when i gave up on sleeping...... You guys mwanyonona! (Lol)
