For 7 straight years, Kadanke has organically grown into Uganda's biggest youth empowerment brand through entertainment, developing talent and skill and many more.

The brand house is set to hold its first youth empowerment and entertaining party of the year on Saturday at UMA show grounds dubbed 'Kadanke Experience'.

However, in the last few days, there has been a social media smear campaign against the brand. The perpetrators have been fabricating their content to divert the audience.

The campaign passes out a message totally different from what the brand has emphasized in the last 7 years.

In a statement released by the brand, they acknowledged that they had no idea about who was responsible for the circulating artwork that has caused a big debate on social media.

The statement however cautions the public to ignore the detractors who fabricate their content for their selfish benefits, but instead digest content only from their official communication channels.

"This is to inform the general public and our loyal fans that the image circulating with our tagged artwork of one of the DJs smoking is not from us.

These are images fabricated by people with intentions to malign our image.

Kadanke is a brand that has grown organically since 2012 and has remained steadfast in its mission of youth engagement and the promotion of arts. We have brought brands closer to young people for the mutual benefit of both. We have added value to young people by developing talents and skills.

We would like to caution the public to ignore such detractors who fabricate such content and also clarify that our messaging is clear from our official social media pages and media outlets.

Nonetheless, we apologise for the inconvenience caused by this messaging and continue to reaffirm our stance to promote positive values to the youth.

We continue to appreciate the love of our core partners Africell Uganda and CocaCola for the support they have rendered to us through the years and other organisations that uplift young people

Once again we apologise for the inconvenience caused and re-assure the public that our show is on for Saturday starting 10am to 6pm.

Management," the statement read.

The youth  will enjoy performances from all top Ugandan entertainers, the first ever dome and silent disco, modelling competitions, rap battles, dance battles, Quiz for the youth, Kadanke cypher among others.
