On Monday, a Top TV presenter known as Lule Joan embarrased reigning Miss Uganda Nakakande Oliver by calling her a failure on live TV.
This did not go well with the beauty Queen, her co-hosts, viewers and the public at large. Viewers heaped pressure on both the TV bosses and presenter to publicly apologize.
After two days, Joan Lule succumbed to pressure and apologised for her misconduct but the public demanded for termination of her contract.
Under fire, the management of Top TV has come out to apologise to the public and that they are handling the matter internally with Human Resource department. They promised to find the perfect penalty for Joan Lule who breached their ethical code of conduct.
The apology has come at a time when Miss Uganda hinted on rejecting all TV interviews.
