Failed musician Kalifah Aganaga has lashed at the Mama awards officials and the Ugandan government for bringing the awards to the country.
Aganaga said the awards don't add anything tangible to the music industry and tourism at large.
He said the government should have invested in its entertainers if it was looking at boosting Uganda Tourism.
"The Mama awards are useless to this country and add nothing to us. The leaders ought to invest in our entertainers back here than wasting money in such things," he partly said in an interview with a local television interview.
