Upcoming musician Sama Sojah is dissatisfied with the way top music stars are running the industry.

He claims they pay media houses to play their music, sabotaging the upcoming artists.

He says most of the so-called big artists in Uganda don't know how to sing, but they promote substandard music by putting most of the radio and television hosts on their payroll.

"The so-called big artists in Uganda don't know how to sing, they promote very bad music and end up stifling talented people who don't have money to pay for airplay," he explains in an interview with a local YouTuber.

It should be noted that fellow musician Naira Ali also bashed some entertainers who pay media houses to promote their content.
